Close to 60 mods would check in for the last state fair races in Lincoln Ne. After drawing #198 of 199 numbers, the 1r mod would line up last in the 2nd heat with only the top 2 making the transfer to the A. We would charge from 9th to 2nd in 3 laps and make the redraw starting 10th. The 1r mod would work up to 3rd and close in one the leader but would finish 5th after using up the right rear tire, leaving no tread on the tire. A very good finish with a stout field of cars.
