Due to a high point average, the 1r mod would start last row in the 3rd heat but would qualify for the invert starting 10th in the A. We would take the lead for good around the halfway point, pulling away from the field easily. The closing laps would have many cautions and allowed the 96j to slid up and momentarly take the lead and then spin, collecting the top 4 cars ending our night.
