A heavy, hammer down track would prove to much for the 1R machine's clutch in the heat, forcing a dnf. With the car repaired, we would start last row of the B feature with only 4 cars making the transfer to the A. 3rd would be the finish in the B starting us 19th in the A. After a strong run the finish would be a solid 6th place finish.
